Willie C. Cook is the sole owner of HRI (Huntington Restaurants, Inc.) and serves as its Chairman, President and CEO. He has owned and operated Burger King Restaurants for 30 years and has also been a contractor and real estate developer in both Northern and Southern California for over 30 years.
He is a national officer of the Burger King Minority Owners' Association and is regarded as one of Burger King's top operators by Burger King's senior management, partly as a result of HRI consistently being in the top 20% of Burger King Restaurants nationally.
Additionally, he is a member of the board of directors of the National Purchasing Cooperative (NPC) used by all Burger King Franchisees. With over $4 billion in annual sales, NPC is the largest such entity in the U.S.
In addition to successfully owning and operating his Burger King franchises in the Bay Area, Mr. Cook's most recent business entity formation is a Gordon Biersch Brewing Co. Restaurant as part of the Oakland Airport Concessionaire program.
For this entity, Nor-Cal FDC has guaranteed over $300,000 in funds granted to Mr. Cook.
